NASA CONFIRMS COLD FUSION IS REAL!

This video from the NASA website gives a brief explanation of LENR (also known as "cold fusion") and its uses:

[link to technologygateway.nasa.gov

This proves:

- LENR (also known as "cold fusion") is real.
- They are already trying to make it into a practical technology.
- Rossi "E-Cat" is likely not a scam.
- The end of Big Oil is coming.
- We could have had this 20 years ago but the established interests prevented it.

HoJo MOTOR - FREE ENERGY DEVICE

http://www.hojomotor.com/vid

The “HoJo Motor” is the only device that produces “Free Energy” that has 3 U.S. Patents!

(The “U.S. Patent Office” Certified That It Actually Produces Free Electricity)!

Letter to Hojo Motor Plan Scammers

Hank Mills has composed a letter to the company and individuals selling bogus plans for a claimed free energy motor, based on Howard Johnson's technology. He addresses the fact they are lying, and bamboozling people.

To Fraudulent "Hojo Motor" Plan Sellers,

Once again, you are swindling money from gullible people, by making completely false claims, telling bold faced lies, and making extreme exaggerations. You did this once before when you tried to peddle your "Telsa's Secret" plans, knowing they were worthless. The purpose of this letter is not so much to tell you off (which everyone in the exotic energy movement needs to do), but also to warn the public not to do business with you.

Howard Johnson was a brilliant inventor. You got that one fact correct. However, his technologies were never fully developed, and were still very experimental when he died. Even if he was able to create motion in an experimental test rig (after hundreds or thousands of hours of work), it was not ready to power a home, an appliance, or even a very light load like a light bulb. The idea that someone could take plans for his device, and build a system capable of powering their home, is totally absurd. Unless of course, they had tens of thousands of dollars to spend, months to experiment just to make a motor self-sustain, and even more time and money to do the research and development needed to do anything practical with it.

You don't advertise the truth that it would take a lot of work and effort to develop the technology to a state where it could power a home, cut their electric bills, or allow them to go off the grid. You advertise as if they can purchase the plans from you, take a trip to the hardware store, and in a fairly short period of time be able to power their home. This is, of course, bullsh*t.

Anyone thinking about buying your plans should realize several things.

-- Replicating the magnetic effects of the technology will not be easy. It would require purchasing various magnets, possibly manufacturing custom shaped magnets, doing lots of trial and error positioning of them, and performing countless hours of tests.

-- The equipment needed to determine if any energy is being gained will be expensive. Tachometers, torque meters, data acquisition systems, and appropriate software are not cheap.

-- Lots of time would be required. There is no way in heck someone would be able to build a system that could power their home in a few days. It would require months or years of work.

If someone wants to start an R and D program to investigate the Howard Johnson technology, your plans may be helpful. However, for the ordinary person without tens of thousands of dollars and months or years of time to invest, they are worthless. That's right; they are not worth one, single, red cent.

Stop preying on clueless individuals. You may think, "If people are so ignorant and stupid, they deserve to have their money taken from them." However, it is never right to lie, and there is never a justification to misrepresent a product.

You are currently lying and misrepresenting your product. The best thing you can do is close up shop, take down your websites, and give out refunds -- if you have not already spent all the money you have stolen.

What really makes me angry is that you give free energy technology a bad name. There are ways to produce free energy from magnets, but it is not nearly as simple as you claim it to be. It requires hard work, a lot of money, and a lot of time.

So crawl back into the hole you came from, and never come out again.

We don't need you, the exotic energy movement does not need you, and your customers (victims) don't need you.

Good Riddance,
Hank Mills

A Day Made of Glass... Made possible by Corning.

A day made of Glass made possible my Corning a very interesting outlook on what electronics and accessibility might be in the future.

Corning is saying its researching on how to bring this fantasy into reality if it comes true than
the future of modern life will revolve around interactive displays and touchscreens.

Have a look at the vision for a possible future.

Antimatter Spacecraft

NASA is possibly only a few decades away from developing an antimatter spacecraft that would cut fuel costs to a fraction of what they are today. In October 2000, NASA scientists announced early designs for an antimatter engine that could generate enormous thrust with only small amounts of antimatter fueling it. The amount of antimatter needed to supply the engine for a one-year trip to Marscould be as little as a millionth of a gram, according to a report in that month's issue of Journal of Propulsion and Power.

Matter-antimatter propulsion will be the most efficient propulsion ever developed, because 100 percent of the mass of the matter and antimatter is converted into energy. When matter and antimatter collide, the energy released by their annihilation releases about 10 billion times the energy that chemical energy such as hydrogen and oxygen combustion, the kind used by the space shuttle, releases. Matter-antimatter reactions are 1,000 times more powerful than the nuclearfission produced in nuclear power plants and 300 times more powerful than nuclear fusion energy. So, matter-antimatter engines have the potential to take us farther with less fuel. The problem is creating and storing the antimatter. There are three main components to a matter-antimatter engine:

  • Magnetic storage rings - Antimatter must be separated from normal matter so storage rings with magnetic fields can move the antimatter around the ring until it is needed to create energy.
  • Feed system - When the spacecraft needs more power, the antimatter will be released to collide with a target of matter, which releases energy.
  • Magnetic rocket nozzle thruster - Like a particle collider on Earth, a long magnetic nozzle will move the energy created by the matter-antimatter through a thruster.

The storage rings on the spacecraft will hold the antimatter.

Antimatter spacecraft like the one in this artist concept could carry us beyond the solar system at amazing speeds.

Approximately 10 grams of antiprotons would be enough fuel to send a manned spacecraft toMars in one month. Today, it takes nearly a year for an unmanned spacecraft to reach Mars. In 1996, the Mars Global Surveyor took 11 months to arrive at Mars. Scientists believe that the speed of an matter-antimatter powered spacecraft would allow man to go where no man has gone before in space. It would be possible to make trips to Jupiter and even beyond the heliopause, the point at which the sun's radiation ends. But it will still be a long time before astronauts are asking their starship's helmsman to take them to warp speed. http://science.howstuffworks.com/antimatter2.htm

Reader Jef4 sends us more info
More reference on the Holman-Moody diesels. Apparently Holmans built several. Good thing they were able to align themselves deep within stock car racing or they probably wouldn’t be here now.

Moody Turbo-Diesel...Over 80 MPG
Newspaper article: 1979
Revolutionizers Of Auto Industry
Mike Shetley and Ralph Moody are two nice, down home fellows who live in a little known area in Volusia County, Florida. Nevertheless, before too long their names might be enshrined along with greats like Henry Ford and other revolutionizers of the auto industry.
Of course, to racing insiders, Ralph Moody is a familiar name. He headed the Ford racing team about a dozen years ago and has been building car engines for about twenty years. As part of the Holman-Moody team based in Charlotte, N.C., he built engines for famed racing names such as Fred Lorenzen, Fireball Roberts and Dick Hutcherson.
Now retired in Florida, Moody teamed up again with a fellow mechanical engineer and has come up with an apparently revolutionary innovation.
What Ralph and Mike have done is develop a turbocharged diesel engine that has shaken up almost every executive from Ford Motor Co. to certain Arab firms in the Middle East. Why are they shaken? Because of the simple fact that Mike and Ralph's engine, placed in a sporty Mercury Capri, is so designed to get the phenomenal rate of more than 80 miles per gallon!!
One might question the credibility of such a MPG rate. The first to do so was Bill Gordon, chairman of the automotive department at Daytona Beach Community College. Gordon has worked for Ford Motor Co. and performed emission test for the Environmental Protection Agency. So his credentials are reliable. Based on his careful testing of the engine, Gordon's recommendations exceeds even Shetley and Moody's. According to Gordon, the engine ran four times cleaner than any presently on the road and covered about 120 miles for less than a $1 worth of fuel! (1979 price)
Other substantiating reports have come in regarding "Moody's Diesel" (aptly titled by the designer). Members of Congress have made the trip to Florida to check out the superengine. Sen. Howard Metzenbaum D-Ohio who serves on the Energy and Natural Resources Committee expressed his enthusiasm and interest in the engine by visiting two weeks ago.
Authorities in the Environmental Protection Agency, the U.S. Transportation Department and Ford Motor Co. have expressed definite interest in the testing of the engine.
This article was taken from a local newspaper in 1979... There is much more to this story than this news article...Go figure!! Were they 'bought' out??
------------------------------------
I remember when I was a freshman in high school I was reading an article on Moody in science class , he had just built the car in attached link .........
http://www.caranddriver.com/columns/...-an-80-mpg-car
----------------------------------------
Living in Charlotte I followed all the hoopla of the Perkins diesel powered Capri. Giving 60+ mpg, it was a car I certainly would have bought. Mike Shetley was Ralph's partner and promoter of this project. Like always Ralph was working hard in private outside of the media. But the project finally went away. A friend found one of the several project cars years later and spent a ton having it restored. Several years later I thought it would be a good investment to own and called him to see if he would sell it. I called 2 weeks too late.

COLD FUSION NEWS

US Senate Candidate Wants Cold Fusion Research

A candidate for the United States Senate (the upper house of the US Congress) supports the idea of Low Energy Nuclear Reactions Research. In an entry on his blog Randy Hekman  stated his belief in Cold Fusion and compared it to the space race.
The US Capitol Building where the Senate Meets
Interestingly enough Hekman stated  he spent three years doing laboratory research on LENR. He doesn’t mention Andrea Rossi or E-cat but he does state that he knows Lewis Larsen CEO of Lattice Energy LLC who developed a cold fusion theory called the Widom-Larsen Theory.

Rumor Mill: US Navy Has Shut Down Cold Fusion Research

The United States Navy’s cold fusion research program may have been halted. Jed Rothwell who operates the LENR-CANR.org  website has posted a blog entry  stating the cold fusion  research efforts at the Navy’s Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command have been shut down.
Unfortunately Rothwell provided no evidence for this claim so it is impossible to verify. Rothwell blames mass media exposure and cold fusion critics for pressuring authorities to shut down the program. He points his finger at Robert Park  a retired physics professor from the University of Maryland who was formerly the Director of Public Information at the American Physical Society and Mary Yugo who has accused Andrea Rossi of running a scam. Note Rothwell does not say how Park and Yugo affected Navy policy he just assumes they can. So his allegations against them are just that allegations.

Interesting Posts at Rossi’s Blog

Although nothing but rumors and wild speculation, have been flying in the greater cold fusion community as of late. Some interesting things  have been going on at Andrea Rossi’s official blog The Journal of Nuclear Physics. Here are some highlights of what has been happening there.
